Personal: Born Sept. 24, 1993, he is the son of Lynn and Rich Morris.
High School: Morris was a three-year contributor on the offensive line for Aurora Christian, playing center as a sophomore and tackle his final two seasons. As a senior, he was named first-team all-state, first-team all-conference, Tri-City all-area and the conference's Offensive Lineman of the Year while helping lead the Eagles to the Class 3A state championship and a 13-1 overall record. His junior season, he moved to tackle as the offense transitioned to the spread offense and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the state playoffs. As a sophomore, he played center in a double wing offense that averaged 29.0 points per game. He was coached at Aurora Christian by Don Beebe.
