A tall, lean lineman who displays a quick kick-step off the snap and has the athleticism to reach the corner in the pass game, Wang is patient in pass protection and does a nice job extending his arms and keeping linemen off his frame. He possesses the fluidity to mirror defenders in space with the coordination to punch, recoil and set again quickly. But he lacks ideal flexibility and consistently gets too high from his two-point stance. He will sink his hips initially out of his stance but can still be bull-rushed at the point of attack. He isn't heavy-handed and struggles to stay on blocks through the play and on opposing linemen once they gain a step. Wang exhibits good quickness out of his stance in the run game and showcases the athleticism to get around defenders and reach blocks on either side of him. He displays good hand placement on contact and demonstrates the ability to angle defenders away from the play and seal on the outside. He looks natural when asked to pull along the line and possesses the body control to consistently hit a moving target at the second level. But he struggles to keep his base down out of his stance and fails to gain leverage as an inline guy, consistently allowing defenders to get under his pad level. He's a coordinated athlete who has an intriguing athletic skill set, but he needs to learn to play with more bend and overall pad level on contact.
